Are you ready for a bit of ‘me’ time?
A stay at Cotswolds Place in Broadway is a restful retreat in itself – a stylish escape to get away from the everyday and enjoy a simpler way of being.
Offering characterful convenience along the pretty High Street, with fresh air and beautiful country walks from your doorstep – the practicalities of a short stay are easy, relaxing and restful.
But is it a Cotswolds spa break that calls you?
If you’d like to take self-care a step further with a spa day or treatment during your visit, there are a few great options within easy reach. Relax with professional help, then come home to your apartment for as much additional rest as you wish.
1. The Lygon Spa:
Just across the road, the Lygon Arms Hotel has been in the hospitality business for 350+ years. Its spa facilities are thankfully much more contemporary and include an indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam rooms and sauna. A beauty room, nail bar and treatment rooms are all a short bath-robed walk away.
You can see the Lygon Spa Day options here and it’s also possible to buy a half/full day pool pass or treatments only.
2. Zen Pamper Company:
If you’d prefer your treatments to come to you, in absolute privacy, then Zen Pamper Company can fix this. As a mobile service, your therapist will bring her massage table, relaxing music, essential oils and all else required to set up a comfortable treatment room in your own living area in the apartment.
There’s a 90 minute minimum booking, so treat yourself to a full session or share the time as a couple, with your children or friends. Choose from the Gold and Platinum options and consider a ‘Girls Pamper Party’ for 8-16 year olds or a ‘Wellness for Cancer Massage’ for those with cancer at any stage of treatment. See the options here or phone Zoe for more information on 0797 7611065.
3. Dormy House Spa:
“Walk in. Float out.” So encourages Dormy House Spa, a short drive away. Located on nearby Farncombe Estate, it’s based in a 17th century farmhouse, now expensive hotel. Award-winning and very indulgent, Dormy House offers a candlelit infinity pool and tranquil Scandi-style thermal suite.
Spa Day packages are available Monday-Friday and include a two-course lunch with a glass of champagne plus access to the Spa between 9am and 5:30pm. There’s a special package for pampering during pregnancy and another named ‘Power Up’ designed to re-energise. You can see the full list here.
4. Tonic Broadway:
If it’s simply a manicure, pedicure or skin care advice that you need, then ladies’ boutique Tonic might be just right for you. Find it right on Broadway High Street, only a minute or two walk away. A friendly welcome, community spirit and a tempting range of clothes and accessories are all on offer too. Tonic is on Instagram here or you can phone to book on 01386 852 065.
5. Chancewell DIY Spa:
For an option with absolute privacy, personalised Netflix and bottomless tea/coffee/tipple of choice, just lock the front door, stay in and DIY your Cotswolds spa break just the way you like it!
You can bring your own skin treatments, cucumber slices, bath potions and whatever else you need. We supply a sweet claw-footed bath and fluffy white Turkish cotton towels. The bath is a small one, but the water hot and the High Street view intriguing to look out on while your face-pack dries. 2 comfy double bedrooms have blackout blinds and are right there whenever you’re ready for sleep.
Hopefully these ideas help with your planning and you’ll have a restful Cotswolds spa break – just the way you like it – soon
Once you’ve made your choices do be sure to book ahead, as you won’t be alone in thinking this way. If you have any other local recommendations we’d really love to hear them – please tell us below 👇🏻
